Name of source Renewable Energy Generation is a very fast-growing field of study under Power System Engineering. Renewable Energy has gained much popularity as it can be easily installed near the load centers and have negligible running charge. Renewable Energy Generation also has the added advantage that it is environment friendly and will aid in sustained development. Interconnection of multiple generating sources to the existing grid is a big challenge. This project intends to study the interaction of multiple renewable sources when it is operated together to supply AC and DC Loads. The behavior of the system is analyzed for different combinations of sources and loads. This project also studies the behavior of micro-grid in islanded and grid connected mode. Solar and Wind are the two renewable energy sources selected for study in this project. Battery is used in this project for energy storage.
