Name of source In these days access to the campus network is becoming more diversified as computerization in universities have been developing and access to it from distant insecure locations may lead to serious security problems, hence taking security into consideration as it is very important to build a efficient and well secured network architecture to obtain secured access to the resources of universities and their information. VPN is best suitable for such scenarios. This project gives the detailed information about the VPN tunneling protocols such as GRE, GRE with IPSEC, MPLS, L2TP and DMVPN are analyzed based on their performance parameters such as throughput, latency and delay time on the multi-campus network. The main purpose of this analysis is to focus on which VPN is best suitable for time sensitive, bandwidth sensitive and secure sensitive applications running on the campus network as well as scalable option for the multi-campus network. .
