Name of source In recent times due to architectural requirements, the structured outcome is more flexible, to satisfy these requirements we need to introduce floating columns. These floating columns are vertical members which rest on beams and where beams transfer the load to columns below it. In present study comparison is made between multistorey buildings having with and without floating columns are analysed in a single step using software on assumption that frames are subjected to design loads only but the real-time, procedure varies as loads are applied in various construction stages on frames and construction sequence accurately represents every floor, and it is expected to yield the most exact analysis results. In this present work model 1 and 2 of with and without floating columns buildings are considered to compare the work of analytical results such as story drift, displacements, story stiffness, base shear, bending moment and shear force etc. they are carried out using Normal linear static
