<subfield code="a">With the evolution of global network the need to protect users and data has become an important aspect of security. Therefore there is a need to authenticate both data and users. There are various method of authenticating a user based on passwords, Personal identification numbers also called as PIN numbers and Biometrics i.e. the authentication of users based on the physiological features as well as behavioural techniques. When compared to the techniques like PIN numbers and complex passwords it has been proved that biometrics is the best method for authentication as it is impossible to copy the unique features of a user. There are different types of Biometric Authentications like: Finger print recognition, Face recognition , Keystroke dynamics etc. Keystroke dynamics is the analysis of users typing pattern in order to uniquely authenticate a user. The aim of this project is to authenticate the user based on their Keystroke Pattern. It involves collecting key stroke pattern</subfield>
